PANDAMIC or ONE FLEW OVER THE COOKOOS NEST
Ok....I'm sitting here watching Oprah with my momma Tina, and the topic is "How to protect your family from the bird flu". Can I just tell you how much this shit scares me. I wonder if it will effect puppies too???...Ever since the Y2K crap the government used as one of their many scare tactics, I try not to feed into it.......But this feels different...... Real....Like it is going to happen......Just how bad will it be is the question.....I'm sure our government is most likely not doing what it needs to prepare properly either.....
You know.....Like Katrina.....The gov. should have given the money to secure the levys in New Orleans years before a catagory 5 hurricane hit. Even with the evacuation....I mean come on, even I saw on a morining news show (GMA I think) DAYS before it hit. They had an animated clip of what would happen if the levys broke......HELLO!!!!.........if a dog can figure it out ..
Months ago there was a request for 7 billion dollars from the gov. to start production of a vaccine.......President Bush said No, and congress allowed 3 billion instead.....If this pandamic is real, it will be just like Katrina. The poor will be forgotten, and will go without any real help, and the rich and powerful will continue to be rich and powerful.....But let's keep spending, how many millions , everday that our troops are in Iraq.....and how long before our "Decider" decides his ratings are too low, and invades another country without reason?????.......... :)~
